On Cinco De Mayo, Friday May 5th you can enjoy food, music and drink specials in Perth Amboy. There will be a lunchtime celebration downtown at Fink Park with food and music from noon-2pm hosted by the Perth Amboy BID (in the event of rain the celebration is at the Jankowski Center at One Olive St). Terrazza will be serving food and drink specials all day, like $5 margaritas & tequila sunrises and $4 tequila shots.  You can hangout in their expanded lounge in the bar and enjoy the great atmosphere.

In Perth Amboy we are so lucky to have great authentic Mexican food. Check out Hollywood Mexican Restaurant on Smith St. and try some excellent tacos with handmade tortillas, served traditional style with a double tortilla for each taco. Try the tacos al pastor, delicious marinated pork tacos with chopped pineapple, cilantro and onions served with lime wedges and green and red sides sauces, and a homemade lemonade. Get it for take out and walk down to the waterfront and enjoy your food at one of the new picnic tables at the base of Bayview Park.
