Perth Amboy has a new county run vaccination site, open to Middlesex County residents only. It is at the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School in Perth Amboy on High St.

Use the NJ sign up portal to pre-register for a vaccine. Once you are registered, you will be alerted when you are eligible to schedule an appointment to get the vaccine. Currently appointments for vaccines are for eligible groups including paid and unpaid healthcare workers, residents and staff of long-term and congregate care facilities, first responders including sworn law enforcement and fire professionals, individuals over 65, and individuals 16-64 with certain medical conditions that increase the risk of severe illness from the virus, as defined by the CDC.

Once you are eligible you can schedule a vaccine appointment, and can do so through the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System. The online portal lets eligible individuals schedule an appointment. Once you are eligible to make an appointment, you can also make a direct appointment at vaccination sites, by reaching out to that site. There is a Middlesex County Megasite located at NJ Convention & Expo Center 97 Sunfield Ave Edison and you can make a direct appointment at the website rwjbh.org/covid19vaccine.
