NJ Primary Election is Tuesday June 8

The New Jersey primary election is this Tuesday, June 8, 2021.  This primary election is different from last years “vote by mail primary” where everyone was sent a mail in ballot. This year you only got a mail in ballot if you requested one and you should have already received it. If you are voting by mail, drop your mail in ballot by 8pm June 8th in the secure dropbox in front of the Police Dept (361 New Brunswick Ave) or in front of City Hall (260 High St.) For more information about mail in voting visit the NJ Voter Information Portal.

If you are voting in-person, Perth Amboy polling locations will be open from 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday June 8, 2021. To find your polling location visit the NJ Voter Information Portal.

On the primary ballot is the New Jersey Governor, State Senator, Assembly, Surrogate, County Commissioners and Members of the State Committees of the parties.
