Mayor’s Summer Concert Series in Bayview Park Thurs Aug 2 from 6-8pm Free
Live music featuring the band Soul Groove in beautiful Bayview Park on the waterfront! Free and open to the public.

Ice Cream Social & Face Painting  Fri Aug 3 from 4-6pm at the Marina
Come out for a free ice cream social at the Perth Amboy Waterfront and Celebrate Perth Amboy’s 300th Anniversary with Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez.  Location is the Marina parking lot across from 211 Front St.

10th Annual Family Day on the Waterfront Sat Aug 4 from 12-4pm Free- Postponed Rain Date Aug 18th
A day of family fun on the waterfront along Sadowski Parkway. Food, rides, games, activities, entertainment, info on local organizations. Volleyball tournament. Be a hero theme, kids wear your superhero costume! Part of the City anti-bullying campaign. Free for Perth Amboy residents.

Horse & Wagon Rides Sat Aug 4 from 12-3pm Free- Postponed due to weather forecast- Rescheduled for Sunday Aug 19th
Learn about Perth Amboy’s history as you ride a horse and wagon around the City.  Starts at Proprietary House. Presented by 1683 Society & The City of Perth Amboy in celebration of Perth Amboy’s 300th Anniversary.

Colonial Dance Block Party Proprietary House 149 Kearny Ave Sat Aug 4 from 7-9pm
It’s the 300th anniversary of Perth Amboy’s Royal Charter and Proprietary House Museum is throwing a block party to celebrate! SUGGESTED DONATION: $5 per Person. Authentic Colonial dancing & instruction by the North River Historical Dancers. Live period music by Ridley & Anne Enslow. Light Refreshments & Gift Shop open. 18th Century Period Attire Encouraged ~ Not Required!

Tercentennial Celebration Exhibit at Proprietary House Sat Aug 4 from 3-9pm & Sun Aug 5 from 1-4pm  Free
Part one of a special three-part exhibit celebrating the City of Perth Amboy’s 300th Birthday. Photos, engravings and other images provide an illustrated tour of Perth Amboy through the centuries. In cooperation with Perth Amboy Free Public Library.

Concerts by the Bay in Bayview Park Sun Aug 5 from 3-5pm Free
Enjoy a free concert by the Garden State Symphonic Band every Sunday from 3-5pm in Perth Amboy’s beautiful Bayview Park on the waterfront. Bring a blanket or lawn chair! Bathrooms and free parking at the marina on Front St.
