Cherry Blossoms Peak in Perth Amboy

Right on time for NJ’s cherry blossom season, Perth Amboy cherry blossoms exploded in all their beauty for Earth Day. Peaking between the second and third week of April, locations like Branch Brook Park in Newark are renowned for their large collection of cherry blossom trees, but Perth Amboy is also a not to be missed spot for viewing.  The Marina District is a beautiful destination and visiting during Cherry Blossom season is a real treat. Perth Amboy is very walkable around this waterfront area, where you can walk up High St to see the beautiful flowering trees over to see historic City Hall (pictured) at 260 High St. Grab a drink and some appetizers after work at Noches De Colombia (273 High St) and then enjoy an evening stroll under the canopy of pink blossoms. High Street, Smith St, Rector and City Hall Circle all have beautiful pink blossoming trees.
