The Perth Amboy Department of Recreation hosts free kayaking in the afternoons in the summer 3-8pm during the week.  Show up and life preservers, boats and paddles are provided. A seasoned guide will point out the current and give you tips to help you have an enjoyable experience.

The Raritan Riverkeeper hosts kayaking trips. Check the NJ/NY Baykeeper website or Facebook pages for their ecotours/ kayaking trips (kayaks provided at a fee).
