Presentation by Food and Watch Water to learn about the plan for a gas power plant in the Keasby section of Woodbridge Township and what Perth Amboy residents can do about it. Learn about the impact of the gas power plant on the health of Perth Amboy residents.   Learn about Perth Amboy’s status as an environmental justice community, one that is already overburden with high air and climate pollution and how this law could be used to deny the permit for the power plant.

The event is organized by Food & Water Watch, the NAACP Perth Amboy Area Branch, NAACP Metuchen Edison Area Branch, and a dozen other community organizations.  Speakers will include Highland Park Council President Phil George, Raritan Riverkeeper Bill Schultz, and the Co-Chair of Physician Engagement at Cooper University Hospital, Dr. Lisa Cerceo.
