Gravestone Art & Symbolism Tour

Wise Owl Workshops presents a walking graveyard tour and talk about the artwork carved on the headstones at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, located at 188 Rector Street, Perth Amboy, NJ.
Over 35 headstone iconographies are located at this beautiful site. Visuals of other headstones will be utilized to enhance your knowledge of iconography as we talk about cultures and various burial rituals. This is a non-refundable event. Refunds will only be given if cancellation is required by Wise Owl Workshops. Proceeds will be donated to St. Peter’s Church.
Put on your best walking shoes. Street parking only. Duration: 1 1/2 hour Recommended: For all ages. Space is limited. Saturday, November 5, 2022 10 am – 11:30 am $15.00 per person.
We will meet at the front entrance of St. Peter’s Church.
