Marijuana is now legal everywhere in NJ. Perth Amboy voted 57% to legalize adult recreational marijuana. It is now our turn to decide how a 2% tax on local sales could be spent in our town, as well as how we should spend state sales revenue which we could receive since  our community has been negatively impacted by the war on drugs. Should Perth Amboy follow other progressive communities and treat marijuana “like alcohol?” Should we allow the local sale, manufacture and cultivation of cannabis in Perth Amboy.
