The Perth Amboy Historic Preservation Commission would like to inform you that a public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2024, for the Former Perth Amboy Police Headquarters, located at 56 Fayette Street (Block: 140, Lot: 3), Perth Amboy, NJ. It is being considered for designation as a Historic Site as the structure is proposed to be redeveloped.

            Should the Former Perth Amboy Police Headquarters be designated a Historic Landmark, it will be subject to review under the regulations under Chapter No. 691-93 (also known as Chapter 258 et. Seq of the Code of the City of Perth Amboy). The public hearing for the designation of the Former Perth Amboy Police Headquarters will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Perth Amboy City Hall located at 260 High Street, Perth Amboy, NJ.
