12:30pm open house gathering at Proprietary House will be followed by the annual procession of townspeople to City Hall Circle for the City of Perth Amboy’s Independence Day Celebration – Including: Reading of the Declaration of Independence; Liberty Bell Ringing; & Much More! Procession from Proprietary House at 1pm to City Hall Circle to ring the New Jersey State Liberty Bell and commemorate the 242nd Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
