Join us at the ribbon cutting for the new Thomas Mundy Peterson County Park! This park honors Thomas Mundy Peterson, a Perth Amboy resident who was the first African American to vote in a U. S. election after the 15th Amendment was ratified. We are celebrating his legacy with historical interpretation, games, crafts, and food vendors.
