On Saturday October 25, St Peters Episcopal Church will host hour long haunted lantern tours. During the hour long tours, the centuries of spirits of Perth Amboy’s past will haunt the neighborhood. The popular haunted history tour had been hosted by the Proprietary House for many years, attracting thousands. But this year the Royal Governors Mansion is under renovations in preparation for upcoming American 250 festivities. St Peter’s, one of the oldest churches in NJ, will host the event. St. Peter’s is located at 188 Rector St on the Perth Amboy Water. Their cemetery has some of the oldest gravestones in NJ, dating back to 1687.
