The red vintage looking Perth Amboy Hometown Trolley is back in service, with its trolley bell ringing. It’s something fun to check out this summer and fall. Not just for visitors, but for residents too. Take the trolley to your favorite locations, the waterfront, the marina, downtown the library and more. The free trolley runs from 10am to 6pm Thursday- Sunday. Route stops are at 18 locations, and the entire route takes about an hours to get through. Check out the schedule and plan your trip. Many residents say they are looking forward to checking out this improvement financed by the Urban Enterprise Zone. The trolley has a wooden interior with 25 seats, wifi, cupholders, and charing pots. It’s very nice. The trolley is also used during special events in the city to transport people.
