The red vintage looking Perth Amboy Hometown Trolley is back in service, with its trolley bell ringing. It’s something fun to check out this summer and fall. Not just for visitors, but for residents too. Take the trolley to your favorite locations, the waterfront, the marina, downtown, the library and more. The free trolley runs from 10am to 6pm Thursday thru Sunday.

Route stops are at 18 locations, and the entire route takes about an hour to get through. Check out the schedule and plan your trip. There is a live location map so you can tell the trolley current location.

Many residents say they are looking forward to checking out this improvement financed by the Urban Enterprise Zone. The trolley has a wooden interior with seating for 25 and has wifi, cupholders, and charging ports. It’s very nice. The trolley is also used during special events in the city to transport people.
