Early Voting in NJ

Early in person voting using voting machines in New Jersey begins Saturday, Oct. 29, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022. The polling location for early voting in Perth Amboy is the Jankowski Community Center at 1 Olive St. The polling site will be open for voting from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on Sundays during the early voting period. Early voting was established in NJ to help increase opportunities for voters to get out and vote, helping to increase voter turnout and increase participation in democracy.

On the ballot are opportunities to vote for US House of Representative aka Congressperson, Middlesex County Sheriff and Middlesex County Commissioners. Also, you can vote for candidates running for Perth Amboy City Council and the Perth Amboy School Board.
