In 2026, the United States will mark the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution and there will be a nationwide celebration. How will we celebrate in Perth Amboy? The city, educational and cultural institutions, library and civic organizations are invited to apply for funding for projects, events and programs to participate in the celebration of America 250. The Arts Institute of Middlesex County is pleased to invite municipal entities and nonprofit organizations based in Middlesex County to submit grant applications for programs that explore the American Revolution and the legacy of the American Revolution in the county. Example of projects include cemetery restoration, murals, music programs, lectures, theatre, visual art and more.
All programs must take place within Middlesex County and must be open to the public and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Programs must take place between July 1, 2025 and December 31, 2026.
Applications will be due by 11:59 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Grants will be awarded in the range of $1,000-$7,000.
