The Perth Amboy Public Library will host its 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Saturday, October 5, from 2- 5 PM at the Perth Amboy Public Library at 196 Jefferson St. The event is free and open to the public.
The Hispanic Heritage Celebration features live music with performances by Grupo Warachando and the Viva Vallenato Cumbia Band, and Afro-Peruvian guitar stylings of Alejandro Ataucusi. The celebration also features dance performances by Sol Azteca (Mexican Folkloric Dance) and Nancy Ynchastegui, a renowned dance performer and instructor. The celebration will also feature an art exhibit of the creative works of local artist Julisa Mugica. There will also be children’s activities designed for the little ones and face painting.
