Tour the beautifully decorated Proprietary House on Sundays in December and vote for the best decorated Christmas Tree in the decorating contest.  Also enjoy afternoon tea in the colonial wine cellar. Shop for gifts in the gift shop in the colonial kitchen. The Proprietary House built in 1762-1764 in Perth Amboy is the only remaining official Royal Governor’s mansion still in existence from the original thirteen colonies.  Tours are on Sundays and start at 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM.  Free parking is available in the house lot.
