The arts festival kicks off with live music and 10 food trucks along Sadowski Parkway on Friday evening. Featured bands include The Feeling Collective Band, Joe Tiano, Tequila Bamboo and SHAMAN.

Perth Amboy Waterfront Arts Festival Saturday May 26th Day Two Noon-9pm
60 artists and vendors, arts & crafts for kids, 10 food trucks, and live music along Sadowski Parkway on Saturday. And a bonfire that evening! Featured bands include Tiffany Silva, Mia Florival & the LMNOP Band, The New Brunswick Oldstars, Gaby the Artist, Yuni Rain, Nalani & Sarina, Secret Sound and THE BAND CALLED FUSE. The New Jersey National Guard’s Black Hawk helicopter will be stationed on Wilentz Field from 1-3 p.m.

Parade begins at 10am at Smith and Wilson St. Ceremony at the War Memorial on Sadowski Parkway at 11am. Luncheon at noon at the American Legion Post 45 at 530 Smith St. Free
The Armory Tiki Bar Open for the Season Noon-2am
Enjoy the nice weather and a great nautical cocktail & bar menu outside at the large Tiki Bar on the waterfront with views of sailboats and Raritan Bay.
Opening Day Ceremonies at Raritan Yacht Club May 28 3:30pm-7pm
There will be live entertainment on the deck from 3:30PM to 7:00 PM. The opening day ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. Come out for the blessing of the fleet!

It might rain this Memorial Day Weekend but you can still have BBQ! Perth Amboy has some excellent take out or eat in BBQ spots. Grilled chicken, pork or beef ribs, grilled shrimp and more served with rice, beans, salad, fries or tostones. Try Luso BBQ or Rivas BBQ. Or pick up a rotisserie chicken from C-Town with all the sides. The Armory also serves amazing Brazillian BBQ called Rodizio.
