Perth Amboy will host a Festival and Fireworks on Monday July 3 to celebrate Independence Day. Starting at 3pm along Sadowski Parkway, the festival will feature food trucks, arts and crafts vendors and live music. The fireworks show will start at 9:20pm over Raritan Bay. The rain date for the event is July 5th. Road will be closed to traffic at 6:00 pm – Sadowski Parkway (both sides) and Water Street (East Side), Lewis Street to the Raritan Bay Yacht Club, as well as Water Street and on both sides from High Street to Lewis Street and will be posted as NO PARKING.

Independence Day Celebration activities in Perth Amboy also include an Open House Reception at Proprietary House, the Royal Governors Mansion, on Tuesday July 4th from 12-12:45pm.

Then a procession from Proprietary House to City Hall Circle for a 1pm Reading of the Declaration of Independence and Liberty Bell Ringing Ceremony.

There will be a performance by Sons of the American Revolution Cannon Crew and New Jersey Fifes & Drums.
