Perth Amboy has many exciting cultural, arts and community events starting in the Spring and go through the Summer and Fall. Events are held along our waterfront, in our parks and at our churches. The following is the Perth Amboy Festival, Art, Music and Dance Schedule that has been released to date for 2026. Looking forward to some great events!
2026 Art Walk Exhibition is a bi-annual event held by the Perth Amboy Gallery Center for the Arts featuring artwork displayed in Patten Park. The outdoor showcase opening reception is Saturday May 9th at 6pm and will feature Art, Music and Food. This year’s theme celebrates Caribbean culture—highlighting its traditions, history, and everyday life.
St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church will hold their annual Greek Festival by the Bay on May 29-31 on the beautiful Perth Amboy waterfront. The festival features delicious Greek food, artisan items for sale and cultural performances. The beautiful church is also open to view. Not to be missed. The festival is free and open to the public.
The Perth Amboy Puerto Rican Festival dates were announced, a little later this year, for June 12-14th. The event features rides, delicious Puerto Rican food and great performances by top Latin artists, dance groups and more. The festival is held in Rudyk Park.
Salsa by the Bay in beautiful Bayview Park hosted by Perth Amboy Artworks will take place Saturdays this year on June 27, July 25th and August 22. Chef DeluxeMe Food Truck will be at each event selling delicious food. The events feature a free dance lesson from 5-6pm then open dancing and live Salsa from 6-8pm. July 25th will feature a Bachata and Merengue Night with a free dance lesson and open dancing to live music to follow. For more info visit Perth Amboy Artworks.org.
Concerts by the Bay returns Sunday July 12th to beautiful Bayview Park and feature the Garden State Symphonic Band from 3-5pm. The concerts are free and open to the public. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concerts are Sundays through August 16th.
Celebrate our Stars and Stripes Fireworks Spectacular will take place on July 2nd 2026 and promises to be an amazing celebration of America 250. Fireworks over Raritan Bay begin around 9:20pm. A pre-fireworks festival is held beginning around 3pm-9pm with bands, food and shopping on the waterfront.
The Perth Amboy Athletic League will hold its annual Carnival on the waterfront from July 1-5th on Wilentz Field. The event features rides, novelty foods and family fun.
The Perth Amboy Dominican Festival hasn’t posted their dates yet but it is usually held August 7-9th on Wilentz Field on the waterfront and features rides, delicious Dominican Food and drinks and shopping.
