Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Perth Amboy has cancelled the annual fireworks extravaganza scheduled for July 2nd 2020 on Raritan Bay. Festival organizers are reaching out to sponsors asking instead that donations be made to help feed and support Perth Amboy  families in need as a result of this horrific pandemic. “Celebrate Perth Amboy“ has formed a new sub entity called “CPA COVID-19-HELP” which is also a 501(c)(3). The  City of Perth Amboy has been ravaged by the coronavirus and quickly became a Hot Spot. Many families are destitute and cannot put food on their table.  They are desperate and dependent on food banks or any source of charitable donations and need help now!   All contributions are 100% tax deductible and immediately needed.   Checks are payable to: CPA COVID-19-HELP. The annual Perth Amboy Puerto Rican Festival scheduled for June 12-14 has also been cancelled. Instead festival organizers will pay tribute to the legacy of the Puerto Rican Festival with online videos. Perth Amboy Artworks has cancelled their Live at the Ferry Slip Music Series and instead is planning to host two online live streamed music festivals during the summer. 

The Perth Amboy City Clerk also confirmed that the Perth Amboy Dominican Festival has been cancelled.

The Perth Amboy Waterfront Arts Festival over Memorial Day weekend is also cancelled.
