The Dude’s Mobile Foods, a food truck themed around the cult classic comedy The Big Lebowski, will be at the Perth Amboy Waterfront on Saturday October 15.  The food truck is listed as one of the “Top 40 Trucks you need to visit ” by Peter Genovese of the Star Ledger. The graphics on the truck and the menu reflect the movie. Top seller menu items include  El Duderino Spicy Swordfish Tacos,  2 spicy soft swordfish tacos with Mexican slaw and a lime infused crema and Bunny’s Spicy Shrimp Tacos,  2 spicy soft shrimp tacos in salsa verde with Mexican slaw and lime infused crema. The Dude’s Food Mobile has roots in Perth Amboy, born and raised on State St by the waterfront.

The marina at the Perth Amboy Waterfront is a great food truck destination, with regulars Chef Slavko’s Food Truck, serving up their famous crabcake sandwiches and kielbasa sandwiches and Caguana Cafe’s Food Truck serving up Puerto Rican fusion.  Saturday at the Waterfront  will also be Tony’s Traveling Trattoria, Paella Party & Ferrara Bakery. The Food Truck event is part of the Waterfront Harvest Festival.
