Proprietary House will have a special schedule for the holidays. In December, both the Museum and Tea Room will be open on Sundays, December 3rd, 10th and 17th from 1-4pm. Proprietary House will be decorated with a “Christmas Carols” theme this year and you can tour the house for $10. For ages 12 and under admission is free. Proprietary House is a Revolutionary War site in Perth Amboy. It is the only Royal Governors Mansion of the 13 colonies still standing. It was home to Royal Governor William Franklin, Ben Franklin’s son. See the mansion adorned with decorations evoking the Dickens Era and bygone days. You can shop for souvenirs, collectibles and items in the gift shop located in the mansions colonial kitchen.

On Sunday, December 17th, enjoy caroling at Proprietary House by St Peter’s Church Choir.
