The Perth Amboy fireworks extravaganza over Raritan Bay is canceled again this year due to the pandemic.
This is the second year in a row the fireworks have been canceled. Since early planning is required, unknowns about the actual rollout of the vaccine and number of new covid cases created uncertainty and too many variables to have the ability to promote a large & safe event. The Perth Amboy Fireworks which we share with South Amboy are very popular bringing thousands to the waterfront to see the amazing display over Raritan Bay. Many communities throughout Central Jersey have also canceled their fireworks again.
