Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Deputy Chief Larry Cattano of the Perth Amboy Police Department announced today that a non-fatal shooting is under investigation.

On July 19, 2021 at approximately 12:40 A.M., authorities responded to the El Patio Bar located at 417 Fayette Street following the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located six individuals who sustained apparent gunshot wounds who were transported from the scene for medical attention. At this time, the individuals’ injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
