During the holiday season, the City of Perth Amboy offers free parking. Parking meters have been suspended through January 1, 2023. Enjoy visiting downtown Perth Amboy and seeing all it has to offer this holiday. Take advantage of the City gift card program that doubles your money and helps you shop local and support the unique stores, specialty food shops and restaurants that Perth Amboy has to offer. See the new mural being painted on Smith St by gifted local artists Julisa Mugica and Solange Pena. Take a stroll to City Hall Circle and see the lights display and beautiful Perth Amboy City Hall decorated for the holidays. Walk over to Proprietary House Christmas Open House Sunday from 1-4pm and tour the Historic Royal Governors Mansion all decorated for the holidays. The Perth Amboy City Council voted yes unanimously on the ordinance to suspend the meters for the holidays.
