The Perth Amboy summer activities list has been published and it includes some great activities for both adults and youth. One of the highlights is the Dept. of Recreation’s free summer kayaking and sailing program. The program begins July 6^th from 6-8pm every day of the week except Wednesdays. It offers adults 18 and up the opportunity to get a free kayak, paddles and life vests or a sail boat to take out on the Raritan Bay leaving from the public boat launch at the south end of Second St. This is an amazingly good time. A seasoned veteran will give you advice on the current and which direction to take the boats out in. There is also sailing and kayaking for youth ages 13-18 from 3-5pm the same days. The program ends Aug 11th.
