The Raritan Yacht Club in Perth Amboy NJ will host the Red Grant Regatta July 12-13 an exciting weekend of sailboat racing on Raritan Bay. Racing starts at 11:30am Saturday July 12th. This year’s regatta promises thrilling action on the water with races for a variety of classes, including PHRF (spinnaker / non spinnaker) and one-design fleets (Colgate26, J/105, etc). A highlight of the weekend will be the Mayor’s Cup race for cruising sailboats, a popular event that underscores the regatta’s community spirit. Participants will navigate challenging courses on the scenic waters of Raritan Bay, testing their skills and sportsmanship.

Beyond the racing, the Red Grant Regatta is renowned for its vibrant social events. Sailors and their guests can look forward to a lively Regatta Party at the RYC Clubhouse on Saturday evening, fostering connections and sharing stories from the day’s competition. The weekend will conclude with an awards ceremony on Sunday.
