The renovated waterfront walkway next to the Raritan Yacht Club is beautiful (photo by James Erwin). The popular scenic and exercise destination had been destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. The new construction features atmospheric lighting and is an expanded public space, seen here with people gathering to view the fireworks over Raritan Bay. You can access the walkway at the corner of High St and Water St. Nearby are food trucks, bars, restaurants, an ice cream parlor, parks and beaches. The waterfront is walkable for a mile reaching from the end of Second St to the end of Smith St.
