Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, Waterfront Arts Festival with 9 bands, 13 food trucks, 48 arts vendors.  Armory Tiki Bar, Ice Cream Specials, Hot Dogs, Live Music, Mojitos and Sangria. Dine on Lobster and Rodizio.

Live Music at 3 Brothers Bar & Grill Thursday May 23rd 8:30pm 555 Penn St.
Featuring  solo Jorge Loayza at 8:30pm.  Food & drink specials like picadera $12 and shots $2 (5-7pm)

Live Music Fridays at PSC Friday May 24th 10pm 782 State St
Live music at the Portuguese Sporting Club featuring the Jorge Loayza Band. 21 and over. Open to the public. No cover. Food and drink specials.

Start the weekend off right with buy one get one 1/2 off Banana Barge ice cream special on Friday. (soft ice cream only.) Also try the tropical Guanábana flavor!  Great outdoor seating with shade under the big tent. Off street parking.

The Waterfront Arts Festival Friday & Saturday May 24 & 25 Fri 5-10pm Sat 12-9pm along Sadowski Parkway
The City of Perth Amboy’s  annual Waterfront Arts Festival features live music and food on the waterfront on Friday and Saturday, with 9 bands and 13 food trucks. Free to enter both days. On Saturday, there are also dance performances, a scene from the musical Hairspray, 48 arts vendors and arts activities to enjoy. Saturday evening also features a bonfire on the beach! Music line up is amazing: Friday night check out Jay Valera, The Feeling Messengers, and at 8pm Joe Taino. Saturday check out these great bands: 2pm Jorge Loayza, 3pm Pepperwine, 4pm Lou Dawg,  5pm Lowlight, 6pm Reality Suite, 7:30pm Nalani & Sarina.

The Armory Restaurant and Tiki Bar, Front St, Perth Amboy
Enjoy beautiful views of Raritan Bay at the waterfront restaurant and order Rodizio, an amazing all-you-can-eat style Brazillian BBQ.  Sit at the Tiki bar, sip a pitcher of sangria and order some seafood appetizers.

The Barge Cocktail Lounge and Restaurant, Front St, Perth Amboy
Order the lobster special at this nautical themed bar and restaurant with water views. Also excellent steaks and sizzling seafood platters. Old school cocktails and Sangria. Outdoor patio will be open.

La Terrazza Latina, 273 High St
Treat yourself to drinks and delicious food from the bar menu. Order one of the 10 types of mojitos and try tostones with pernil (fried plantains and pulled pork) topped with caramelized onions and avocado. Sit on the couches on the patio in the beautiful bar lounge. Take a walk over to the waterfront after your meal.

Rated the best ice cream in Middlesex County by the Star Ledger, Fajji’s is having  a special Buy a Brownie Special Sundae or MINDYWICH and get a free small cone. The homemade ice cream and tropical helados are amazing!

Waterfront Walk
There is a mile long waterfront walk from the Front St Marina to the end of Second St. Pass a cool mural, gaze at sail boats, pass public gardens with beautiful flowers and gazebo, sit on scenic benches, check out historical markers and enjoy the exercise stops along the way.

Opening Day Ceremonies at Raritan Yacht Club Monday May 27th noon
Members of the Raritan Yacht Club hold the blessing of the fleet ceremony and celebration.

Coney Island Hot Dog, 192 A Smith St
It doesnt get much better than the Coney Island Dog- grilled dog with chili, mustard and onions.  Delicious dogs and curly seasoned cheese fries. Short walk from the waterfront to Smith St. Its worth it!

Bayside Creamery, 273 Front St. 
Get ice cream and then take a walk along the marina or sit in beautiful Bayview park and look out at the water and the boats.

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony Monday May 27th10am
Parade is at 10am beginning at the corner of Smith and Wilson St. Ceremony is at 11am at the Veterans War Memorial on Sadowski Parkway on the waterfront. Refreshments to follow.
