The new Middlesex County Jazz Festival is coming to Perth Amboy on Friday, September 29th at 7 pm, featuring a great evening of Jazz under the Harvest Moon at the Historic Perth Amboy Ferry Slip at 300 Front Street on the Perth Amboy Waterfront. Forbidden Tropics will play at 8pm at the Ferry Slip playing Afro-Peruvian Jazz led by guitarist/composer Alejandro Ataucusi from Perth Amboy. Forbidden Tropics fuses Jazz with Afro-Peruvian music, forming unique world music. Read band bio here.

Chef Deluxe Me Food Truck will be at the festival from 5-10pm serving up a delicious menu. Free parking is available at the Perth Amboy Marina next to the Ferry Slip. The rain location for the Jazz Festival in Perth Amboy is the Perth Amboy Public Library at 196 Jefferson St.
Perth Amboy artist Victor Quezada and his Latin Jazz Band will be the headliner kicking off the Middlesex County Jazz Festival in Edison on Thurs Sept 28th with openers Stevens High School Jazz Ensemble and The Delegations.
